Becoming a Helpward helper
Sign up as a helper, complete ID verification + background check, link a bank for payouts, and once approved you can go online from /provider/active to start accepting tasks.
- Sign up at /signup?role=provider with your full name, email, and password.
- Complete your basic profile — bio, languages, service radius.
- Pick the services you want to offer from the catalog.
- Verify your ID through Stripe Identity (takes 2–5 minutes).
- Pass the background check (typically 24–72 hours).
- Link your bank for payouts via Stripe Connect.
- A human at Helpward reviews and approves your application.
- Go online from /provider/active to start receiving offers.
Helpers keep 80% of the base + distance fee, plus 100% of any tip. Helpward takes 20% to cover insurance, support, identity verification, and platform costs.
