Saved addresses

Save the places you book to often — Home, Work, Mom's, the gym — and tap a chip on /new-request to fill the address in one move. Set one as default and it pre-fills every new request automatically.

Saved addresses are a personal rolodex of the places you book to. Once you save an address, it shows up as a one-tap chip above the address input on the new-request screen so you never retype the same line twice.

How to save one

  1. Open /settings and find the "Saved addresses" card.
  2. Tap "Add" and pick a label — Home, Work, Gym, or anything you want.
  3. Type the full address.
  4. Optionally tick "Use as the default for new requests" — this address will pre-fill every new booking, ready to overwrite if needed.

Editing and deleting

  • Tap the trash icon on any saved address to remove it. Existing bookings keep the address that was used at the time — saved addresses are templates, not foreign keys.
  • Tap the star icon on a non-default address to promote it. The previous default loses its star automatically.
  • Each account can have at most one default address. There's no cap on how many you can save in total.

Frequently asked

Will deleting a saved address affect my past bookings?
+
No. When you submit a request, the address is copied into the booking as a separate record. Renaming or deleting the saved address later doesn't touch any past or in-flight booking.
Can I save someone else's address (like a relative's)?
+
Yes. Any address you book to regularly — your mom's, a friend's, a partner's office — is fair game. Use a label that makes sense to you ("Mom's", "Dad's house").
Why doesn't it autocomplete real cities yet?
+
Real address autocomplete needs Mapbox tiles, which land when our Mapbox integration is wired. Until then it's a free-text field — type the address as you'd write it on an envelope.
